Most of the information offered on this site is for XP users, although much of it will apply to earlier versions of Windows and Vista.  For Windows 7 users, please let me know what your specific problem is and there is a 95% chance I can solve it for you, as it mostly only the layout of the OS that has changed.  My advice is simply, 'upgrade to Windows 8', out now if you are interested in testing it free for 12 months.

We are also open to suggestions as to what you think would help people learn a bit more about computer use in everyday situations.  If you have a support question that is relatively uncomplicated and common, I will publish it here under questions and answers for the benefit of other people who may have the same question or problem.
